JONATHAN BENNETT HAS AS AN "EAGLE EYE" FOR KRISTIN CAVALLARI

The two Van Wilder co-stars showed up hand in hand to the Los Angeles premiere of Eagle Eye. I think we might have a couple alert! Besides it's not like dating your co-star is unheard of in Hollywood.

Jonathan Bennett is looking hot in his Alexander McQueen feather lapel tuxedo jacket with his gray button up with white collar shirt from A.P.C. and black skinny jeans from Diesel. Get it Jonathan!

MCQUEEN, A VERY SPECIFIC BRAND

Circus ring leader Alexander McQueen store opening party in West Hollywood drew in a very eclectic crowd. Not a big surprise considering all the big names went to Cannes.

Real life Ex Pimp Archbishop Magic Don Juan. This is too good. Don Juan's bio reads: "His life path was changed dramatically in 1985 after receiving a vision from the "Most High". Bishop retired from the Pimpin Game and founded his church and community assistance program in Chicago . He soon was bequeathed by his brethren the honored title of Archbishop.. Chuuurch!"

China Chow somehow smuggled an invite to the Mc Queen party. China is most famous for her movie role in 1998 The Big Hit . She wasn't! The best thing she could have done was sleep with Mark Wahlberg.

And what would a circus be without its Jester Top Model's Jay Manuel.

FORESKIN IS THE NEW BLACK ...

by Pierre Baltadano

In cruising around the virtual metropolis that is the Internet, I ran into a small blurb on the website of Indesign magazine about Australian fashion designer/artist Sruli Recht.

There wasn’t much content in Indesign’s little posting about Recht, but the Reykjavik-based artist’s experience in the studio of Alexander McQueen, a reference to shoes made for "throat-cutting thieves, and with a look akin to a mythological faun, he definitely caught my attention.

I always love insight into the minds of designers of any kind and Sruli Recht was definitely an interesting one. In navigating his site you can view many distinct pieces that are, without a doubt, a reflection of this artist storytelling imagination and design process. From face-covering capes, to a leather corrective brace, to minke dork (mink whale foreskin) shoes, Recht’s range of exploration in form, materials, and overall design shows up in a more whimsical, storybook way that makes me think of old age explorers and gangs of abandoned streets kids of a distant future.

hmmm... I've just bored myself with myself so instead...Check out his MySpace page or website for more on Recht’s wild mind.
