TREMBLED BLOSSOMS

by Pierre Baltadano

Browsing the website of one of my favorite artists, James Jean, I stumbled upon work he did for a new PRADA film called Trembled Blossoms that echoes the PRADA Spring/Summer 2008 collection and recently premiered at PRADA's New York epicenter store, . Check out the vid at PRADA.com and visit the site of James Jean to check out more of his vibrant and vivid work.

ELVIRA -MISTRESS OF THE DARK AND KATY PERRY ARE THE SAME...

AMY WINEHOUSE GETS DENIED A VISA...THEN GETS ONE...OH THE DRAMZ...

So miz Amy Winehouse got denied a Visa to perform at the Grammy's, in which she has several noms, including Album of the Year and Best New Artist. She has six nominations for this year's Grammy's and will be ready to accept any wins via telecast. Then she was granted a visa after talks between the US and British government. Due to timing logistics, she still won't be coming to this Sunday's Grammy's but is expected and ready to perform live via satellite.

In other news, The Sun reports that if Amy stays clean until April she could be getting the chance to write and sing the theme for the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

The insider said of DANIEL CRAIG’s new 007 film Quantum Of Solace: “It will have a dark and moody feel so Amy would be absolutely perfect.

“It’s another fantastic carrot being dangled to encourage her to give up drugs.”

Hopefully Amy can just get clean and pursue all the great opportunities.

EQUINOX FITNESS CLUB'S NEW AD CAMPAIGN

Apparently the Pope is not happy. This controversial ad is only one of a series released my Equinox.

C.J.Doyle of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts on the subject-

“It says a great deal about this perverse obsession in both the fashion industry and the advertising industry of exploiting and mocking and sexualizing Catholic religious imagery.”

Since the dawn of time, nudity has been a part of the church, art, life, and culture. The Catholic church has far bigger problems to work on than some gym's advertisements strategies.

KATY PERRY HEARTS BETSEY JOHNSON...

Katy Perry
showed off her best in Betsey at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Rumor has it that these two are planning collaboration sometime soon. Of course Betsey's collection was filled with color and very 80's inspired. Purrrrfect for Katy Perry. I couldn’t help but notice Katy was missing something this go around at fashion week. Oh yes, ME! She just doesn’t seem has happy with out her daily dose of Markus Marquez. Oh well. Next time. Remember Kittle, you can NEVER LEAVE ME!

ANOTHER DAY. ANOTHER BLOG. WHAT IT DO?

Yo. What it do y'all? I hope everyone had a great Sunday. I certainly had a fun Sunday watching the big game. Love how New York did not disappoint and pulled it off in the end. I introduced American football to my British friend Thomas. I think he just enjoyed the excitement that the partygoers displayed. That and the cute girls at the party that always fall for that British accent. I like to tell girls he's really from Jersey.

Anyways today I'm at Java detour. I'd rather blog were there are people around I just feel motivated more. Rumor has it that Markusisthedrug.com is going corporate. Well not really but I hear an office is in the works. Lots of new things in the New Year. So I hope everyone keeps checking in daily. I also plan on doing more with the web show. You know, keep y'all entertained.

PAULA ABDUL, DANCE LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW LIVE

I'M CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK

The New Pink Blackberry Pearl Smart phone that is. Yes y'all, I stepped out last night with my baby momma Golden Brooks. We met up with a few friends Alice Greczyn who was escorted my her beau Step Up 2: The Streets the streets Robert Hoffman. I also had a run in with Kyle XY's bad girl Jesse XX/Jamie Alexander.
I was most excited to see Milan, Italy pal Rosorio Dawson who I got to have a chat with about the not pink but red cause she's so passionate about. That’s AIDS awareness. I told Rosario that I had seen her special on the subject on MTV and she told me she was disappointed that it didn’t get the exposure that it needed. We talked about how with all the knowledge people have about AIDS the number of people getting it are still very high. I didn’t mean to break up a party with the seriousness of AIDS talk but it's important.

The evening wasn’t all seriousness, though... Golden and I then took the party to Bar Lubitsch where we met up with some Hollywood hipster. Not to stop the momentum of the party train, we later took it over to the super fun, always 80's music, always on Thursday, 80's at Hyde night were we danced the night away.
